With Thanksgiving season upon us, now is the time to consider how small acts of kindness can impact our community. Students can take initiative by encouraging their sports teams, club groups, or local organizations to volunteer in the local community. Community service is an important activity in the college admissions process. . . . Here in Vermont, students can volunteer to help with food insecurity and homelessness. . . .
